After, becoming a dislocated worker, I realized the desire to do hair, with the assistance of WIA (workforce investment act and trade act-Columbia office) I go to B-Unique Barber Academy to learn about a barber, business, skills, people and all hair types. I can learn everything from B-Unique. The Instructors are teaching theory and practical for easy to understand in a one-on-one atmosphere. I was afraid at first, but now I am almost finish and no longer afraid to perform. Right now, I am able to do all kinds of cuts, African American, Caucasians Hispanics, and Vietnamese, hairstyling, color, relaxers, perms, etc.

Sincere Thanks, Hien Phan

I came from El Salvador, where I studied cosmetology, but South Carolina did not accept my reciprocity. I love this professional so much, so when I heard about B-Unique Barber Academy, this was an opportunity for me because the school is mastering diversity, which will enable me to get a Master Barber License. The B-Unique Barber staff takes extra pride in making sure that we understand. I am very excited that they are helping me with my English and writing skills, to help me prepare for the State Board, the test is given in English, only. Thank you B-Unique.
